Weak minded refs?. We had a penalty given and missed in one game.I think we more relished the fact that the weak minded refs we often get there couldn’t be influenced by the crowd.
Elite sportsmen as a rule aren’t intimidated by a hostile crowd and in fact are often buoyed by hostility.

If memory serves, in that game with any degree of fair officiating we could’ve had 4 penaltiesWeak minded refs?. We had a penalty given and missed in one game.

An 8-15 kick-off is a problem for some who rely on public transport....and the moaning starts - this time it's the kick off time.

Even kicking off at 8-00 rather than 7-45 can be a problem. For example I know someone who gets home an hour later after CL games as the train he catches is every hour. He can get the 10-15 after a 7-45 game but has to get the 11-15 after a CL game.
