I wouldn't worry what ITV say pal. Newcastle always sell out their allocation and every game they play is a minimum 4 hour round trip. Burnley is their closest game then us which is 145 miles away. And they have had some horrendous away fixture KO times so fair play to them travelling in the numbers they do.
Hate to be pedantic but think Sheffield is their second nearest away trip this season.

Had to feel sorry for Ipswich yesterday, it must really piss you off to see your FA cup exit cheered by band wagon jumpers the bulk of whom have never watched Maidstone before. At their first FA cup tie this year their followingvwas a couple of dozen. Might be a bit of a Kent thing bearing in mind Gillinghams following at Wembley compared to their home gates. Have never understood people who will go long distances to watch a team they can't be bothered to cross the road to watch at home.

I goto every home game.
In the league.
Don't do champions league as a corrupt load of shite.
I sit in 220 more and more tourists and pricks with half and half scarfs on taking fucking selfie.
While proper fans can't afford it or been pushed out
Again proper fans can get a season card for roughly £24 a game.
Great value.

Oh dear. I go to all games & only really notice tourists in CL
Domestic cup games tend to be fans who can’t attend regularly enough to justify a ST.
Guess we have to agree to disagree re disgruntlement

I welcome all fans. “Tourists“ love the games & bring a lot of joy

Hi guy´s i am a belgian supporter , together with my girlfriend i will visit the game against burnley and your beloved Vincent Kompany. No doubt we will win 6 to zero !

Looks like Wolves got the lesson United had to have beaten in to them at Maine Rd, if your in the wrong end keep your head down and gob shut. Been in that situation often sussed only once at Everton, scary day.

I was at the match last night and atmosphere from us was great I watched the highlights today and noticed they didn't pan onto the fans much when we scored and seem to think they rarely do when we score but for certain teams when a goal goes in all you see is the camera in the away end non stop been like that on BT for CL away games we have a mint following yet the camera rarely show it and mention it yet same again certain other teams and boom its none stop....
Football coverage has not modernised since the 70s. They rarely show footage of any fans(home or away) and yet it is a crucial part of any event. They should also position some cameras to get a fans eye view (like some of those on youtube). The atmosphere has been sensational at our last two away games (Newcastle and Spurs) but when you watch the games on TV later the coverage never captures that atmosphere.

Block x? Do you mean entrance x?

as its a week night ,
How is block 323 row x ? Is it far (too far) away from the pitch? Can we sneak into a better block?
Atmosphere not great in the pubs? Our hotel is located in pollard street. Can we see the players arrive? Sorry for all the questions but we want to be prepared. Thanx in advance. We are both supporting kv mechelen in Belgium.

From the City website:-
"Seeing the players arriving takes place outside The Colin Bell Stand entrance and includes our very own unique team arrival. The first team usually arrive about 90 mins before kick-off. The show is aimed at our family audience and if the little ones want to see their heroes in person, this is the best place to be!"

Hope this helps and don't forget a really good rain coat and hood!
There will be spare seats around as its a weeknight - perhaps weigh-up which seats aren't taken then sit 2nd half

The atmosphere should be alright tomorrow night as there doesn’t seem to be that many tourists bothering. So the vast majority will be the local diehards.

As Burnley have only got SSL1 and SSL2, the majority of their loyal Neanderthals should be in SSL1, which again, will generate some banter and atmosphere.

On top of that Haaland is back, even though he might only get a run out in the 2nd half.

How do all teams around the world get their atmosphere in the ground right except the EPL? Is it because the EPL thinks they are the best league in the world etc and we invented football no one tells us what to do?

I was so glad to hear a drum at the recent Spurs vs City game, this is because clubs in England are starting to realize that Crystal Palace and Arsenal are spot on and every club needs its ultras

Look what happened with Celtic recently where their ultras were banned then the club came and said that the atmosphere was not as good without them.

Celtic started the safe standing trial, Celtic also started the ultra section with Capo Stand now every club in Scotland has ultra fans with drums and marches to the ground

Around Europe, all clubs have their ultras, look at City when we played Young Boys, the BT commentators mocked the Young Boys fans for doing fan displays with black bags

Look at the MLS where teams that that only been set up for a year have ultra fans(supporters section US name) who march to the grounds and bang drums trying to create atmosphere then even have flares and drink at their seats.

In this country, we criticise the MLS but they have one thing right how to create an atmosphere and how to look after their fans with loads of different places to eat and drink within the stadium all Spurs and Everton have done is copy this model.

With most of EPL trying to copy Pepball which is a high-passing game, the notion of cheering when something is happening on the pitch is defunct as nothing is happening except passing, so having ultra-type fans with drums, etc would help the atmosphere.

We all agree that Pep is the best manager in the world but when he talks about the atmosphere he gets mocked actually he is spot on.

The club has a golden opportunity with the new North Stand to do something amazing and create a Blue Wall and twelve men for the team.

Look at Marca's comments about the atmosphere at the Real Madrid game last year where they said that it was one of the most hostile environments they have played in. If we can do it for that game why can't we do it for every game?

For the North Stand to get the right people in there, we need to copy what the 3252 have done by setting up a website where fans who want to make noise etc sign up then all the details are passed to the club so they can get the tickets etc organized

The drums were shit at Spurs. There's nowt wrong with our atmosphere, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's shite. Most people don't want to be choreographed, hence why we push back on these ideas.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean others agree.
