I fucking hate posts like this. A not-so-sly dig out of match going Blues in plain sight.

Who needs the media, twatter and redshirt forums to do a job on us when we do such a good job ourselves.

You don't need to sing but please, shout, clap and encourage the players.
Get involved. Don't sit in silence and if we go a goal down, shout even more. Appeal for everything even if its not a foul or penalty, who cares, just make noise.

Anyone who sits in silence need not attend.

Just a shame you sit in silence in the pub when it's your turn to get a round in, mate; )

6 people supporting the home team in the away section, using tickets that should have gone to City fans, is the crux of the matter.

Don't know what's going on with this ticket malarkey.
Two guys I travelled with bought Orient memberships at £30 and then paid £32 for their tickets in the home section.
Both on 26 & 27k points and not missed any game this season.
I was sat in our section next to two Asian lads who spent more time playing with their phones than actually watching the game.

have got 6 people thrown out while watching the biggest Orient game in recent history.. That is just me, my opinion. Personally I would have felt terrible doing that.
Orient at Home was one of my first games in the Sixties. I have watched City in the home end at away matches dozens of times, I listed them a while ago.. Have never been outed by home fans.
I personally feel it is a sad indictment of modern society that people feel the need to either "smack" or "out" fellow football fans.
But there again I am a "FOC" .

It’s not true either. The Newcastle atmosphere is great for the biggest games just like our stadium and the rest of the PL. I have been to St James’s Park dozens of times and sometimes it has been deathly quiet. There are too many myths being spread by some people who don’t attend live matches and believe the media bullshit.

Birmingham v Newcastle on a Saturday night when the travelling Geordies are able to get on the beer all day whilst travelling 1000s is always going to create sum atmosphere. The fact Birmingham are on the up aswell also aided the atmosphere.
I have been to many away days this year. Leicester by far the best atmosphere, with the worst probably being Wolves and Arsenal.
Its down to the players to play better which naturally raises the atmosphere but tippy tappy 5 yards passes certainly wont help.
I am not going Tuesday as I have fucked my back but I expect the atmosphere to be good.

I agree.
There are many reasons which combine to create atmospheres.
Yesterday the Burmingham v Newcastle atmosphere seemed brilliant due to the factors which combined to make it so.
I have been to St Andrews plenty of times when only the presence of City fans made the atmosphere decent.
I am sure Tuesday will be great, if a little nervy.

I personally think in this day and age we are to hard on ourselves.
We probably have the best 'song book' in the pl.
Other clubs just sing their clubs name and one other song.
The volume on the tv can be altered. I remember sound added in the covid times. Mikes can be turned down.

Dipperpool is one of the biggest mythes in football. The amount of times you can hear a pin drop when the opponent has the ball is never mentioned.

I think all clubs atmospheres are about the same given who the opponent is.

I have sat at the Etihad and it's almost been silent as City try to brake down the bus. It's fucking boring.
On the other hand I have been at the Etihad when the place has been rocking against RM, PSG, rags, villa .

Yes it was a dire day. I arrived ticketless. Failed to get in until just before kick off when a friend working in hospitality got a ticket off a young player and I got in the Main.
I did respect the Saints fans that day as they stayed behind to watch the after match "celebrations"]
And there was the final match day curry on the mile, not been there since.
