Attendance for Dortmund? Also banners/flares/inflatables?

Think the club may have to look at CL ticket prices once again.

As others have stated, all the 3rd tiers have been taken off sale. Blocks 111/110/109 and the SS have now been added. Plenty of seats unsold in the singing sections, nevermind in the North Stand and 3rd tiers.

It's a pity really considering it's the CL and we're playing Dortmund. Obviously money is tight, ticket prices seem to be high, and many are voting with their tv remotes.

Cue. "If your watching on the telly......(it's going to be sung)

If you take out the fact that people hate the 'political element' of old firm fans then you'd have to say some of their displays, at derby matches especially, are superb.
The Ultra's at Celtic are a loud and well organised group - think the Rangers equivalent is called the Blue Order.
I'd love to see City give over a couple of blocks to un-segregated seating to young boisterous lads and let them get on with it.
Anyone else that has an issue with how hot their Boveril or how comfy their seat is could fuck off elsewhere.
I suppose the big problem is cost for the younger lads though. How in fucks name can they do a load of aways - London especially - when the cost of match tickets and travel is prohibitive.
I'm in my mid-thirties now and I know it's not to everyones taste but for me the younger generations are key to our future support and should be encouraged. They want to get pissed up and have a sing song, let them get on with it -give them their own specific sections and tell stewards to leave them be within reason.

Problem with this is that if you start seperating all the different demographics of people, the crowd just won't be unified. Look at the family stand, its basically a different ground down that end

I hope no tourists are planning a day trip tomorrow...

Important information ahead of City's Uefa Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund...

Tickets are still on sale to supporters with qualifying purchase history for tomorrow night’s Champions League Group Stage match against Borussia Dortmund - kick off 7.45pm.

Eh? They will be giving them away soon.

This is the highest standard of footy in the World and the tickets are priced extremely cheaply with that in mind.

If fans don't want to go or can't make it its their decision....but I don't think those fans would go if it were £5. The weird fact is people prefer to watch City play Fulham than Dortmund. I don't know why but it's a fact for some.

I suppose it's like music tastes. You could have The Halle Orchestra playing in one room and a really bad Karaoke in the next...but if you really like American Pie you are still going to end up in the second room wondering why its so expensive to see classical music.

Plus we had this last season vs Napoli and it very nearly sold out.

a lot of people just cannot afford these prices ( not saying there bad btw). Take my dad for example for him its 35 quid then my mum who doesnt work, thats 70 quid on one game already, if he goes to all three games hed be looking at 210 quid.

I know what you are saying but you could say that about any footy game. If money is tight then you choose your games and my point is that a lot of people will choose to watch Fulham over Dortmund because that's what they like .

I prefer the style of footy the top teams in the World play and it's a treat to me to see these teams live so I prefer the CL, but that's just me.

48,000 people can afford a league match, so although not everyone can, it shows that people are making a choice and if there are empty seats its not necessarily the cost.

Wrong! It is completely to do with the cost. People want to watch their team but cant afford it.

If the price was right for tomorrow night, it would be full. We live in the north of england and are in the middle of a recession.

I've said this before, but feel it needs stating again, inflatables are childish and seeing grown men waving them around is all a little bit sad.

The end of one actually. Q3 saw growth.

Well we disagree then. If it were just cost why weren't league cup games at £5/£10 a sell out? How are we selling out our league games? Cost is a factor. It's not completely to do with cost at all.
