The Community Shield seems to have lost some of it's prestige over the years thanks to wall to wall football on TV but it still is the curtain raiser to the new season and the first piece of silverware on offer. Another chance to see City lift a trophy and one less that anyone else can win. If heaven forbid it's all City win this year, wouldn't you be gutted not to have been there?

I'd be devasted having had such a terrible season, only the shittest teams would end up with only the Charity Shield to their name.

Would of give our right arm for this game a few years ago. Seeing though we have been starved of silva ware before a couple of years ago i am surprised that 13000 tickets havn't been sold yet.
Im'e on it like last year, its the curtain raiser at the end of the day.
