But it will still be the same players for us. Nothing to worry about.
As Sunderland showed.

But seriously, how can Chelsea afford to keep buying players and sacking managers?

I think they are royally fucked for FFP.

yup can see them struggling in the future, they have to spend to replace the oldies, they need a manager to come in and get his own team but you can't do that now FFPR are active.

oh well one less threat to us. i can really see FFPR helping us, it stops anyone else doing what we have done. we've just snuck in.

Abramovich is a fucking idiot. Why did he even recruit a promising young manager with limited experience if he's not got the bollocks to back him?

I hope Chelsea's fans have enjoyed the success they've had so far because they won't be getting any more for quite some considerable time. Abramovich may as well pack it all in and go home if he's going to continue acting like a bellend. He's got to be the most counter-productive owner in English football.

This a hundred times over.

Still as long as it keeps them uncompetitive you can't help but smile.

AVB will be laughing his cock off, nice payoff coming his way and he'll prob go back to Porto and spend the money that Abramovich gave them to get AVB in the first place.....

I think he knew it was coming yesterday. It speaks volumes about the character of that Chelsea squad. Watch the exact same players go out and play like heros against Napoli.

I don't think Chelsea supporters will care too much. Roman will throw money at the problem again in the summer, but there's going to come a point where good managers will just not want to work for him.

I can't see how they will rationalise it at all. At least we have a plan.

Roman has a plan - as soon as he sorts out the purchase off the pitch owners, he will build a new stadium and then sell Stamford Bridge as prime real estate.

Sure I read it on here that this is his way around the ffp.

They are fucked as long as they have Side Show Bob playing

Have Cashly,Racist, and Fatty got their way again?

I had our match with them as a home win by a few. Now i'm worried about new manager syndrome.

AVB would have had a clear out in the Summer as did Bobby of players that didn't want to play for him. Bad move by the gangster which may come back to haunt him.

I think AVB will cost £15m to sack, so it said on the radio in the week. I think more to the point though, who is there to come in?! Rafa is the outstanding candidate, for want of a better word, and I think that's about as good as they can hope for. It's not exactly a tempting job for any of the top, top managers. It's Red Rom's club and so he can do as he pleases with it, but it's getting to the point where it's like working for Real or something - hardly secure.

One thing AVB can look at from his time at Chelsea with a fond view though is his bank balance. That is the easiest £15m+ anyone will ever earn. Good on him!

It's in Mourinho's contract he can break his agreement with Real. A similar clause to what Hughes invoked with Fulham.

This is possibly his best chance to get back into England with a decent team and some sort of money pot.

Mourinho will be the obvious favourite because it just fits but i think there will be a lot of twists. The fact that Di Matteo has been made temporary manager means they will want to consider all options, Benitez is currently unemployed and they could have him today but making Di Matteo manager until the end of the season points to them wanting someone who possibly has a job to do still...

He's 34years old and he's managed Porto and Chelsea, we'll see him at a top club again in no time.

Mourinho will be back at chelsea soon, without a doubt.

Wasn't producing the results so had to go. This league has no settling in period, you either produce results instantly or you're out, simple as.
A manager should always be backed over players, especially if you pay £13,000,000 for him.

Agreed. But sadly, that's often not the case.
