I hope Chelsea's fans have enjoyed the success they've had so far because they won't be getting any more for quite some considerable time. Abramovich may as well pack it all in and go home if he's going to continue acting like a bellend. He's got to be the most counter-productive owner in English football.

Rumours of players meeting RA on his yacht, to think in 2006 people were talking of Chelsea as a club to dominate the next decade. Great job to have though isn't it. 5 year deal couple of million quid a year sacked after 8 months walk away with 10m for doing fuck all. Managers will be queing up for this job. Ideal for 'arry'.

A very harsh decision in my book. I can't say i'm surprised though considering Abramovich's past treatment of managers. It could be a great job there but how many big names are going to be put off by the impatience of the boss?

Do they still get paid if their contract is terminated? Surely there is a 'cooling off period' or something? Say, x upfront now, Y when you complete first season or something...?
