Bad news for non season ticket holders

although it states that those stands are sold out.. that is just the season ticket allocation. there is a percentage in each stand which is not season ticket and allowed to be purchased each match day..

It has always been like that.
That's wrong

Season tickets pay the most money so they should get the better views. What is so hard to explain about that? I don't see why people who are paying £40.00 complain when not getting priority to the better views. You have what is left around the stadium regardless of where it is and that's the way it's always been.

nail head

finger ouch

Everyone knew that with the N/S being turned entirely into a family stand that an awful lot of North standers were relocating, which in turn would mean less seats available for the "occasional fan" Plus some L2'ers (like myself) took a decision to relocate before the price hike.
With all this information openly available and talked about in numerous threads on here, the simple and most obvious solution was for the "occasional fan" to apply for a £250 season card and take their chances on where they would be allocated.
If they came to half of the home league matches, it still only works out at £28 a game.

After I'd paid for this season ticket I started saving for next year £1.37 a day or £10 a week.

Can imagine you stood at the gallon bottle of Bells every evening - one pound, twenty, thirty, thirty five..... shit! Anyone got change for a five pence? I need some ones and twos. ;-)

I have a Citycard and always sit in the first few rows of the East stand, the view isn't too bad if you get near the half way line. I wouldn't mind sitting there every game if I could afford a seasoncard and travel.

Hahahah.... My point is its half the price of a pint a day if you want a season ticket in 12 months time. how many people don't think twice about spending £1.37?

We're only allowed to sell up to 36,000 S/T's iirc. So knock off 2,800 for away fans and 1,500 corporates and there will still be 7,000 tickets on genral sale for each game.

that's not what the op is on about, its more the quality of the seats that are left that is his beef.

Again. Every seat in our ground is 'quality'. The worst seats are probably tier 1 row A and thats only because of the lack of depth perception.
