If I've got this right...if we appeal then Balo can play v rags...win or lose.. as the case won't be decided on until Thursday. Correct?

i would say your correct but lose the appeal it will be 4 games however i think the FA can fast track this 'it rings a bell with me'

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

In my opinion, Balo was stupid and petulant getting involved in anything slightly dodgy when he was already on a yellow. Does the guy want to establish himself as a bad ass before establishing himself as a world class player? Seems that way. 2 prem goals and he didn't seem that arsed.

That being said, the ref giving him a straight red has probably done us a favour. It wasn't a straight red and so can be overturned at appeal. It was probably a booking at most, which if given would mean it couldn't be overturned, but he would still be banned for Wednesday. So we should have him available.

Looks a fantastic player, why he is trying to earn a reputation as a knobhead already is beyond me. Enjoy your first goals in the EPL Mario ffs!

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

Ladyman says Mancini bollocked Balotelli as he was walking off, did anyone see that as I don't think the cameras saw it?

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

Even if the red is rescinded, which i doubt, he will still end up with a yellow - and as he had already been booked, he will get a one game ban.

The boy lives right on the edge. It's probably what will make him so good. However, he does need to learn and learn fast.

Tony the tool Gale mentioned something about it but they didn't show it on the screen, I ignored it at time as I thought gale was just shit stirring

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

Didn't he say he doesn't celebrate scoring because it is his job and he's just doing what he is paid for. He expects to score.

Refreshing in a way, weird in others.

Seems like a bit of a laugh off the pitch by all accounts - nothing wrong with being serious on it?

He did nothing wrong today IMO. Didn't complain any more than Bellers used to do, and we all found that endearing, right?

not sure! i dont think it can be reduced to a yellow as it was a straight red its either that or nothing

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

Not only was it not a sending off but it was a pen IMO, we should appeal this and not just for the rags game but because he should never be banned for 3 games for being fouled!
Bobby manc would go with the Chelsea line up against the rags anywho.

well played today blues
