A few things - Mancini should learn in the future that when he gets booked he should be taken off especially when we were comfortable today. Second we shouldn´t lower ourselves to scum type tricks a la Wio and finally if Balo does the Wio thing you can bet that whisky nosed coont will have him targeted on Wed - Do we want to take that risk?

in fairness mancini was about to sub him for johnson as he saw it coming, just bad luck that it happened while johnson was warming up, ballotelli will be like a roller coaster ride for us city fans

Can't believe we're talking about being glad a player can't play in a derby game because he'd probably get sent off anyway, if that is the case then Balotelli needs to grow up .

Of course he needs to grow up and learn. He is a talent and knows it, he is arrogant and doesnt care, but he is also 20 yrs old at a new club in a new country. It maybe good for him to miss the derby but what is oh so sweet is that after this performance the scum fans will be hoping that we dont appeal, but will then be thinking to themselves FFS look what they have without him.

im no lawyer but i believe this to be our best defence in appealing

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

Once again we've got a sideshow distracting us from what was a very fine win away from home against one of our bogey team, i believe we hadn't won there in 4 or 5 previous visits, against a background of constant carping and belittling of everything Man City.
Balotelli needs to learn quickly i'll give you that, but he has the raw talent, he can win games for us, no question, he'll have to learn the hard way not to lash out.
The thing Mancini has brought to us is we can win away, i know the last guy had many good points and I'm not getting into all that, but we do win away now, remember, with Mark we could not BUY a win away, that was his biggest problem, not the draws.
We needed a win today and we got one against without doubt one of this leagues form teams.
I am now a lot less fearful for weds, they are not as good as they once were and are beatable.

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

Balotelli's red card..

As far as i saw it was a straight red.. not two yellows.. therefore we can appeal?

Last season the scum pulled the same stunt on us.. Ferdidanduckface was given a red card.. They then appealed so there was a delay.. So then he could play in the derby even tho it meant he would miss additional matches..

I say lets pull the same stunt on them..

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

Seen the red twice now in slow mo HD and if he got sent off for kicking out then it should not stand. He didn't kick at all. He pushes the WBA player of him and is close to pushing his face, but there was definitely no kick.

Ballotelli appeal?

I've got it.

Just send him out in the Richards 2 shirt. They'll never suspect a thing. Until Micah tells someone to fuck off in Italian, of course...
