Ballotelli appeal (Merged)

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

I've only got to page 3 due to the site running dreadfully slow, but has anyone realised that since the rags used the appeal system to get Ferdinand available to play against us due to the time a appeal used to take, now the FA have changed the rules so any appeal is dealt with immediately (ie Tomorrow) therefore unless it was rescinded he would still be banned for the rags game and also another 3 (due to a frivolous appeal). We may as well take it on the chin and use our 'appeal card' for one that has a chance of getting rescinded.

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

I haven't seen it as I'm at a hospital with my wife who is having an op on her back (nothing major) so I'm going to reserve judgement on the actual validity of the sending off, but what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

The rags did it so let's return the compliment. If the appeal isn't successful it doesnt really matter. He'll just miss an extra game.

No appeal, he'd loose. Was definitely a sending off, acted like a total clown and showed he isn't mature enough for the first team

Love how the rules are always changed after United breaks them.

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

He's just got us 3 points away from home and you're saying he needs to sort himself out?????

When can we appeal? Will it get looked at in time for the derby?

The guy is a walking timebomb - 3 games 3 yellows 1 red and 3 goals - he needs to sort himself out because he will cost us big time - cant say i am not pleased he is out of the game next week because Vidic would wind him up and we would finish with 10 men

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

Just saw it again on the Last Word on Sky. Andy Gray thinks the ref got it wrong too...

Get an appeal in.

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

so either way he misses the derby, correct? We're just arguing whether he should be missing 1 game or 3? And if he loses it'll be 4, right?

Re: Ballotelli appeal?

Andy Gray doesn't think he stood on him... how late can we leave it before we appeal, will his prolong the process long enough to allow him to play?

-- 07 Nov 2010, 19:56 --

Andy Gray doesn't think he stood on him... how late can we leave it before we appeal, will this prolong the process long enough to allow him to play?
