Full version: "I'm really sorry for what happened, for the disappointment I've given to Man City and, particularly, to Roberto Mancini, for whom I have a great respect and who I love," Balotelli told Ansa news agency.

"As for my future, we will see at the end of the season. I'll talk with the club and we will see."
Hahaha he loves Mancini.

What a load of shit. Mario embarrasses Mancini constantly. If he wasn't crazy, one would suspect he's trying to get Mancini fired.

Heartfelt words from the lad and it seems that the penny has finally dropped with him. He is obviously extremely disappointed with himself and distraught that he has let the fans, his manager and his team mates down. I imagine that he didn't sleep last night and spent half the night worrying over the exact wording of his apology, so important it was to him to make sure that his remorse was known. I expect him to completely adapt his behaviour now and never get involved in such stupidity, on and off the pitch, again. See, those of you who didn't have faith in him, stick that in your pipe.......
Brilliant

And pigs might fly.....

Wind you neck in. Someone on that other thread says they spotted him in Dogs R Us (he swears it is a real place) earlier today with a few dodgy looking blokes. If that isn't the act of a contrite man, then I don't know what is. Roberto will be receiving a Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle cross tomorrow and every seasoncard holder is going to get a bag full of dog biscuits. Above and beyond the call of duty for even the most contrite of individuals.

Lampard just walked off without a second thought fro the exact same tackle that got Balo a yellow.

He is hard a working tough ENGLISH player.

It's a start but possibly too little, too late. Let his football do the talking, that is if he can show it again.
