Very good news and it shouldn't have even got this far in the first place. Hopefully, he gets a good run in the team now so he can get the goals to match his decent performances so far this season.
Do you want him to get a good run of games
Or carlos & serge to start every game?

Is it currently possible to have both? Most probably not.
It's hard to argue against Tevez and Aguero getting as much game time as possible but its also fucking ridiculous to completely ignore the clear fact that not getting a consistent run of games, preferably in his best position, isn't going to affect his goal scoring form even if his performances have been decent so far this season.

If he was named on sat in the team there would be fucking uproar
He's finished!

I'm indifferent to wether he stays or goes, I don't want that. I want to have players that we cherish, that we feel belong here. Mario to me feels like an outsider who just won't conform to the project in front of him.
Bang on. Even Tevez looks like he wants to be here and part of all this, though I think even he has a deal where he can leave at the end of the contract he currently has, and that deal was struck after his fuck up last season. He's come good though, the boy's come good. That will never be said about Balotelli. He's a complete myth as far as i'm concerned, an average-good player who occasionally has struck up a bit of genius, however those occasions I can count on one hand and that for me is not good enough to enable him to think he can go around doing as he pleases. That arrogance has to be earned, and he's nowhere near as good as he or his admirers think he is.
He's not good enough for Manchester City and like Robinho before him, the shit gets filtered out.

I had nowt but hope for 44years. I've not given up on the lad yet!

Firstly, there won't be any uproar and secondly, this is Mancini we're talking about, he doesn't really give a fuck about uproars when selecting his team.

So would you start him then?

Don't understand where some of the comments "He's had a decent season so far" etc are coming from - He's been absolute shite and is only here for one thing and that is not the good of the team - He doesn't care and never has.

Get fuckin rid now FFS

Not rocket science really. You only have to open your eyes and watch the games.

Yep

I'm not under any illusions of being the manager like most on here are. I don't know how training will go for the rest of the week. I don't know what the best game plan will be based on players available and what not, there's a lot I and posters on here don't know about what goes into picking the team a matchday so I'll leave those decisions to those best placed to make them if you don't mind.

only the old people who have let the lsd they did in the 70s get to them think balotelli should go
OI!! Im of the 70s and it wasnt LSD it was Boddingtons bitter that sent me GA GA, Balotelli has had his chance over and over and hes blew it the only person who dosnt recognise this is Bobby

This saga has just made me feel a bit sad.

Since he got here I have been a big fan of Mario's because I think he probably could be a great player, dare I say it in the Cantona mould - he's trouble for us but bigger trouble for everyone else if he's on his game.

The only problem is that he doesn't do it consistently and while he can have fantastic games, like in the sick swan or the FA Cup Final, the fact that you can actually remember the exact games he has made a difference highlights how rarely it happens. As far as delivery on your promise is concerned Mario is way behind Edin in my opinion and has won us far fewer important games - you could argue he's even scuppered a few (EL against Kiev, Prem vs the Arse last season).

While I would be sorry to see him go in January it wouldn't be a disaster even if we don't get anyone else in the window (we don't have a European fixture schedule to play & it could be a great time to bring Guidetti into the fold). The other thing is the risk of him benefitting any other English team, but seeing as he can't be consistent here with all the support Bobby has given him, I wouldn't worry too much if anyone else picked him up.
