Balotelli (continued)

I have observed on Bluemoon and on MEN that folks who criticize Mario Baloteli get slapped down as a Balo haters. These are not logical responses, as many true blues would love to see him succeed here, but are increasingly frustrated by his waste of natural talent & ability. Here's my two cents worth based on observations:

Balo has some natural talents and potential, which are occasionally displayed, but which are frustratingly frequently missing from his game. Maybe playing at Platt Lane is about his mark.

Balo plays more for himself than for his club, and as its a team game that means that he would be very frustrating to play with. Why can't he play for City like he played for Italy in the Euros? Maybe a swift retuen to Italy in this transfer window would be in everybody's best interests (even if that means taking a loss on his fee).

Balo has let the hype of "SuperMario" and let the big money and early success go to his head, so he finds it OK to show his frustrations by mouthing off at officials and by lashing out at opponents and sometimes team-mates. He is so predictably easy to wind-up that opponents will always try it, and his reputation means that refs are watching him closely. No one to blame but himself.

Balo has let his perceived status as a "favoured son" go to his head, and he has abused his position with Roberto, who now needs to show some "tough love", or it will all end in tears. Arrivederci.

I understand that but I also understand that City are not social service and are paying him 100k+ per week to perform world class football for that money.

If he can't do it due to his bad childhood, well he should renegotiate contract and get paid for what he is worth for. Or find some other job where his bad childhood won't make as much impact like it can in football.

I feel with lad personally, I perfectly understand what you are trying to say but that wouldn't be considered as his escape option if he would work in McDonalds so why would it be at 100k per week job.

Sorry mate, it's not a social service, it's football club, business and one with very big stakes. You can take care of players as much as it is possible, you can give an extra effort but you won't go with it forever.

No why should he lack confidence, a black kid being brought up in a more racist country than this he should be oosing with self worth and self esteem
 
You did not say literally that he should have a special treatment but as far as I understood you did hint that we should look at him more gently because of..

Whatever, I don't know would I agree with your views about his self-confidence, he doesn't look like he has any lack of it while he is smashing bitches around and if he lacks it, playing in EDS game is hardly something that will skyrocket it. He played it only for fitness reasons.

i didnt literally say it, i didnt suggest it and i didnt fucking hint that he should get special treatment. but that special treatment goes both ways.

i was stood at one away game when i pass was made by yaya in balotelli`s direction with much too much pace on it. the halfwit behind me screamed "balotelli you lazy twat". i swear usain bolt strapped on the back of frankel could of latched on to that ball.

i know his short coming as much as anyone and if we could swap him for cavani or falcao of course with extra cash i would. but some of the bollox thats spouted on here is fuck crass stupidity,
 
In my opinion he should be given the extra understanding Mancini gives him.

I have posted this before many times, he is a young man with so much ability it would be a nonsense to sell him as he could become a great.

He doesnt do it now, he makes mistakes, but how mant of you were grown up at 22 .....ask yourself that. Just because you are a footballer it does not automatically grow you up and the money is irrelevant. Its about maturity and growing up.



I didnt grow up until i was in my late 30s im still not sure ive grown up now, so all you very mature grown ups ask yourself what were you like at 22?
