Think the OS got it right, it was a shame because he was actually working his arse off before it... he was chasing every ball.
The "its only a friendly" is a crap attitude to have... the younger players sat on the bench or that have been left behind at home won't feel that way. Pre-season games are there not just to get you ready for the season... but for people to show the manager what they can do and earn their place.
SWP is one prime example, didn't get much game last season and is now working his arse off in these games to show Mancini that he should be playing. Guidetti could of been out there doing the same.
However, will wait and see what Mario has to say and if he really did think he was offside... it was an odd reaction. People are clueless with the "these games mean nothing" comments... from a fans point of view it is, doesn't mean any silverware or anything. To a player it means alot more though.
