Some players just don't fit at certain clubs, Berbatov is an exceptional talent (remember him in the LC at Eastlands, Spuds down to 10 men and he ran the show - as good a performance from an away player as I've seen for years). Forlan was the same, great player but couldn't hack it with the reds.

Conversely, they've had players of limited ability over the years that have performed very well for them. Look at Phil Neville, the luckiest footballer in the world, hard working and loyal but hardly a world beater yet he's got more England caps and medals than you could shake a stick at!

Best individual performance i have seen in years. V Good player, just doesnt fit at the rags

Hopefully hes shyte till Jan and demands to leave

Oh you mean like we did for Berbatov?
Did you not know we do everything by the book, are complete angels and that there's a massive conspiracy against us TFS?!

If I may interrup this flirting girls. I don't think I mentioned anything about the Media or a conspiracy. The Media was mentioned by you Pidge. I am one of those that finds the constant conspiracy theories and rants against Talksport and the red tops quite tiresome.

Tolm mentioned this theory the other day and I though it made sense. Could be bollocks, who knows?

As you were.

WORTH 32 MILLION!!!!! as some papers are saying(via bbc!) is a bit much,i had a feeling when the scum bid it was only to hike the price(we seem to chase all their targets and snatch them from their clutches).

i fail to see how he can have a value like this-----20 MILLION is fair anymore and i d tell inter to get stuffed!!!

mind you i have balotelli ahead of drogba anyday! we can give him a proper home where he can feel loved and play footie again....i don t want a chelsea star ,drogba has a connection with chelsea fans.... i d like them to keep it that way!

I've really warmed to the idea of Balotelli in a City shirt now. When we were first linked with him a few months back, i couldn't see past his attitude and large ego, and on the very few occassions i had seen him play, he wasn't great. However, he gets untold amounts of abuse in Italy. It must really affect his game. A move to England and a reunion with Mancini would be a fresh start for the kid. He can put everything behind him and just concentrate on playing football again. I reckon if we signed him, our fans would really make him "feel the love" (as Ade put it). I trust Mancini on this one.

He seems to fit the bill in every sort of way, all the attributes, all the top players need to be a nob, have an arrogance about him, maybe he can curb it a bit in time, and channel it all into the game, but how good would it be watching him develop over the years, then him leading us out?
