I've got a feeling the Mario deal is done and concluded, they just are keeping it tight lipped and as a result the media's "sources" don't have anything to break. No breaking news is not a good thing for the media, so they spin it as City putting the Mario deal on the back burner until Milner is done.

Also, if Mario is flying to the States to meet up with either City or Inter, it most likely is not the easiest for the media to try and get a hold of him at this time, and who knows where his agent is. And we all know trying to get a hold any member of City management at this point in the window is like trying to catch a ghost. Like I said, if the media has no breaking news, it's not a good thing for them, so they are going to spin things to try and make it look breaking. I'm fully confident this deal is already done.
