Watching Lescott getting skinned by some Mexican today doesn't fill me with confidence. :( Pay Benfica whatever they want.

Those are my thoughts. He had an absolutely abysmal performance tonight. But so did many others. After tonight, I have no problem seeing SWP, Jo and Ireland (SWP looked awful, Jo completed missed several attempts and got nothing but air, and quite frankly, Ireland looks completely uninspired and was atrocious to watch) all be sold off, Weiss going out on loan (he's no where near ready for a place on the 25 man squad, Viera being left off the 25 man squad (he is done, plain and simple, make him a coach or something) and quite frankly, and Joe should be the #1 at this point in time. The whole squad looked pathetic tonight, with the exception of Ade. His ball control was tremendous, he had zero help.

-- Wed Jul 28, 2010 11:12 pm --

What thing about Luiz? Did Boswell mention him?

I was asking about David Luiz.. since Real Madrid looks to have Macion I doubt they would get Luiz too in the same window.

One of the twitter fellas (newspaper jouno) over the weekend, not Boswell, said Maicon, Mario and Luiz were City's biggest target of as of now. (cant find the tweet now)

Maicon has zero interest in coming to City, but the other two would not surprise me at all at this point. Land those two and call it a window, unless some Earth-shattering transfer presents itself to us.

I'm not hopeful of enws today and think it may be announced Saturday night (our time) before we play Inter in the friendly.

I didn't see the game this morning but can see the players are being called crap and hounded once again after a pointless game.

Looks good. The Mail are well represented on the tour with Ladyman given good access to the staff so I do not doubt this.

I thought we knew them as the Daily Fail... and that they talked bollocks.

Or is that only when they print a story we don't like?

It gets so confusing on here at times...
