Too much panicking going on as a result of one very unreliable source.

The only quote from anyone seems to be his agent saying 'there is no agreement today'. Which hardly says it's off does it?

The agent would be the first to gob off if there was anything to say (and for certain would have if City had told him they were 'walking away from the deal), the fact that he has chosen to keep it zipped suggests he has enough reason not to want to risk irritating us.

This deal will definitely happen IMO, if indeed it hasn't already. We may just have to wait until after Saturday for the announcement.
 
If there was an impossible impasse we'll probably get to hear soon, otherwise no news is good news. I'm reading it as the deal has yet to be concluded
