ROME, July 30 - "Mario is eager to reach an agreement." So the prosecutor Mario Balotelli, Mino Raiola, approached by Sky Sports 24 hours ago in Malpensa, returning from England, where he played another round of negotiations is not decisive for Manchester City. "Until there is life there is hope," replied the agent to request the status of talks on the transfer of the attacker Inter. How is Super Mario these days? 'Breathing - ironic Raiola said -. It's quiet, but is anxious to reach an agreement, it is normal for a boy of 19 years. " 'We work and hope, "he added.

Looks like Ballotelli wants it over with and to sign.

Exactly, why would Mario be eager for the deal to be done and at the same time want more money from us.

The three parties want this done, so it will be done.

The delay is due to the fact all 3 parties dealing with this trasfer are in three seprate countries.

If we were willing to pay Robinho £160,000 a week then we should definitely be paying £88,000 for Balotelli.

Disagree, to many of the games genuine talents are falling by the wayside due to getting to much to soon...... Rooney may of been sold for 25m but his wages were 35k for the first 2 years, the money however you paper over it is integral to how this kid develops, stand firm and promise pay parity with the top earners once we've a) won something and b) hes been a big contributing factor to this.

a very good point.

Yeah, that sounds promising. What we're witnessing is the seperate parties negotiating to get the best deal for themselves or their client. It's normal. It appears there is a will, and when there's a will there's a way. I still believe this will go through. It just requires patience.

I don't believe for a second, it's Balotelli's wage demands that is the issue here.

The deal with inter are supposed to include bonus and shuch things and Balotelli probably want to secure certain amount of games first team football. this may increase or make the inter deal very costly and therefor the rapid visit back to Inter, I dont know, but all 3 parties want to be finish this and still there are problems, so it had to be something like that. Remeber hes only 19 and we have plenty of players an a new rotation policy.

just a theory though

Well said, when it comes down to it i'm sure well reach an agreement anyway it pans out. At the same time as Balotelli desperately wanting this deal to happen it is not an option for either him or his agent to let it fall through because he could not go back to inter and his agent wants the money for the deal. If it comes down to it i'm sure well pay the extra 8,000 a year if we have to, don't worry city would never let a world class talent just walk away for such a pathetic disagreement and neither would he.
