4-3-3 is an excellent formation. Chelsea, Barcelona and Inter often play it. Probably the three best teams in Europe. United play it quite often too.

You don't have to play three out and out strikers to play 4-3-3.

United 4-5-1 (also played as 4-3-3 when attacking)
Madrid 4-3-1-2 (also played as 4-3-3 when attacking
Inter 4-5-1 (also played as 4-3-3 when attacking)
Aresnal 4-4-2 (also play 4-3-3 with walcott and arshavin on the wings RVP upfront on his own)
Tottenham 4-4-2 ( the only 4-4-2 team here)
Oh right i get it, so when every team is attacking they play a 4-3-3? Well in that case if City's full backs are going forward with the ball does that mean we are playing a 2-4-4? no... it doesn't
and madrid do not play 4-3-3 full stop, ronaldo plays behind Higuin and Kaka is like Silva (plays in hole), they do not play
-------ronaldo-----------------huguin--------------kaka-------

The team i play for also play 4-5-1/4-3-3 its a commonly used formation for when your in and out of posssion, your shape changes.

Whatever mate you obviously know better mate so im not gonna argue with you.

A few days old, unless Sky flew them back to Italy just so they can show them leaving again.

Yesterday he wasn't training with rest the Inter squad, thats says it all to me.

FFS why do people care if he's flown to America. If anything thats a good thing as our top brass and medical team are all over there!!
Ibrahimovic went on tour with them despite everyone knowing he was moving on. It is irrelivent

Hes 19 so not going straight in as a first team starter IMO.

I wouldnt be too sure, I think he's there to rotate and get as much time as Tevez and Ade TBH, after all the lad has over 80 appearances for the current Champions of Europe and Italy. Its not like were signing someone who has had half a season and impressed.

Whats so special about Balotelli?

I'm not wumming here, I havnt see much of Balotelli, could someone tell me what's so special about this guy? If you could advise what what player his style is like it would be appriciated.

Also, I looked at his goal scoring record and its like 1 in 3 or something, does this mean he dosnt play as a striker and plays out wide on deeper in the hole?

Cheers,

Liam

Re: Whats so special about Balotelli?

He is like an Italian Bellers, He is a grafter and puts a shift in.

But on the down side he is a cocky shit, bed attitude, argumentive, arrogant, agressive and sulks alot.

He will fit in well at city

The 4-3-3 is by far the dominant formation today among top teams. The 4-5-1 and 4-3-3 are just two different variations of the same formation. Not only on club level is the 4-3-3 totally dominant, but take a look at the World Cup. It's the same situation, only England played the formation that people here want us to play. The limp 4-4-2 with 2 strikers.

Teams today play with 2 wide forwards and one striker up front. Playing with 2 strikers in the middle is backwards. I don't consider Tottenham among the big teams.

..........de Jong.......Yaya T..........
.....................Silva..................

Then the front line can be rotated:

A Johnson.......................Balotelli
....................Tévez.................

......Tévez......................Balotelli
..................Adebayor...............

.....Tévez....................A Johnson
.................Adebayor................

....Tévez...................A Johnson
.................Balotelli...............

You could also put other players into that like Robinho, Bellamy, SWP, Weiss and Milner, but I'm not going to sit here all day.
