I sincerely doubt we're making a public point. I think it's the way it is from now on, they are going to be very firm with agents and selling clubs. All our deals have appeared to be in jeopardy, often right at the end. but as we weren't exactly being unreasonable in the first place, they've come through.

I agree he is worth 30m to us, but I'm really not sure the deal is being held up
by a couple of million on the fee. There are three sides to be taken care of (agent/player, Inter, City)... the reason given for the hold-up keeps flipping from one to the other. as far as I can gather from previous deals, city are effectively saying, 'XX to get the whole thing done, sort it out amongst yourself'.
