Barcelona Information Thread

bottom of Las Ramblas, little side street on the right as your walking down towards port/sea
Baghdad Sex Club, a few live shows and overpriced drinks, negotiate the entry price down and it brings a little bit of Hamburg/Amsterdam to your Barca experience.

Has anyone booked on t cook trips previously and then not met ticket criteria.I have 4000/5000 points and i want to know if you don't meet criteria do they simply refund your money. I normally make own arrangements as much cheaper and more of an adventure but taking youngest son this time and the 1 nighter seems pretty good value at mo all things considered, cheers in advance
im almost positive they dont take any money untill you have been allocated a match ticket, if you dont get one they cancel the booking, i did the turin trip with them and it was brilliant

Its a great City, and for good bars/restaurants i would recommend the el born area its left off Ramblas (if heading down toward the port).Bit bmore bohemian atmosphere.

I will be heading to the El Born region as I recently stayed there for the Barca V Espanyol game in November. Like you say a bit bohemian, nice crowd and only 20 mins walk from the Ramblas. Probabaly not the best place for groups of lads singing songs but Ideal for a few chilled out drinks in the square.

we are staying here <a class="postlink" href="http://www.vilanovapark.com/?lang=EN" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.vilanovapark.com/?lang=EN</a>

That's right. Had mixed experience with them. Can be very good, but not really forgiven them for not having people around at Ajax after the match to tell us that the coaches had been moved.

Love the Paseig del Born. Not the biggest street but could spend hours on end in the cafes/cocktail bars there.
