Good performance. We'll be stronger as a club for it.

I agree. We never looked out of place and if anything, these are the types of losses that will bring the squad closer.

Spanish football writer Andy West at the Camp Nou: "Two defensive errors - one from Martin Demichelis two weeks ago and one from Joleon Lescott tonight - were punished by two goals from Lionel Messi, and that was the essential difference between the sides. Forget refereeing controversies: the main lesson City should take from the tie is that they're not too far away from competing with the elite."

Can we please not have the "we was robbed" stuff? We were not robbed at all. Both teams got their fair share of shit decisions from a shit ref but Barca took their chances and we didn't. End of story.

Fair share? what are you on?

how many yellow for us v them....ridiculous decisions and once again ref doesn't play fair

Respect

Anybody else lost a little respect for Barcelona over the last two games.

This isn't a claim that we deserved more than we got or that we were on the receiving end of bad decisions but just in general.

Before we played them I looked at Iniesta and Neymar and simply saw two top class players but now (after tonight especially) I couldn't help but notice the way they threw themselves to the ground. The entire team for that matter seemed to fall at the slightest touch. And worse than that was the way they hounded the referee to get several of our players in the book. Shocking for a team that's supposed to be one of the best in the world. Pathetic even.

We played well with lots of effort. Shame we couldn't have given that effort against Wigan on Sunday. - hopefully we can give that much effort on Saturday against hull or we will be in real trouble in the title race when it's still completely all in our own hands!

You have the right to talk bollocks and fair play to you for using that right.
Again, another person incapable of debate. Barcelona played well within themselves. We were soundly beaten and deserved nothing from either match.

another long wait to get Aguero back.... So important games coming up.. But now its all in for the League, Go City!

If the tit of a manager we have had done his sums in the last group game, we would still be in this competition.

End of
