That has suprised me tbh, thought this one would have sold out really quickly especially as we only got 3000 tickets.

Not having a pop by the way to those that can't justify the expenditure, just am suprised as though this ould have sold out rapidly.

Did anyone else expect to have sold out by now?
City fans are real fans who work..............not rich people who live in London and can get cheap day return flights back to London...............unlike the red scum

Ok.

I am suprised thats all, as this is the glamour tie of the group stage and it has fell when Oktoberfest is on. Just thought that this one was one not to miss in most people's eyes.

Interesting English. But of course that makes the flights expensive and the hotels sold out (and expensive!).

It probably was until people started looking for (and at the cost of) hotels.

One thing probably not appreciated by many is that the night we are there, not only is it Oktoberfest, but Bayern Munich are at home (funny that), and a sizeable percentage of their fans travel long distance to their home games, they are the rags of Germany, therefore hotel space will be less available than normal.

I don't understand why we constantly beat ourselves up over attendances (home or away), we do pretty well in reality, especially as we don't have a particularly well paid supporter base.

Probably because they've been drip feeding them with the cup scheme bollocks.

Now it's on sale to people not on the scheme, they should sell quickly.

I agree, the cup scheme thing worked well.

Got mine!

Couldn't miss this game,

Munich beer festival and city in champions league, priceless!

Costing us £900 for 2 day stay in holiday inn Munich, with flights so I can understand why people can't go...

Doing the same as you.

Doing the same as you lads and I know quite few more doing it.
It's going to be pretty smelly in Munich Airport on the Wednesday
morning.
Cannot imagine what the people on the Singapore and Lufthansa flights
think when us lot get on.

Not all that much of the out of town support travels much more than 100km or stays overnight according to a recent survey, especially to midweek games.
A lot of the out of towners simply get tickets for the away games in their area.
The big majority of Bayern's support at home games comes from within Bavaria.
The hotel problem is simply down to the bierfest, it's the worst time all year to be looking for a hotel in Munich.

Of course we have glory hunters but then if you start collecting trophies you'll soon find yourself knee deep in those too.
