Bayern post match thread
There is no chance we can win at home, clichy was getting shown up by robben and he was on the pitch for 15 minuets, i think alot of people are forgetting that bayern were also without ribery, i think they will beat us 3-0 at home.
this is a wind up, right?

Joe Hart excellent, made some great saves.

Toure very poor tonight, he always seems so lethargic, the way he lopes about, but then can have a blistering turn of pace when he puts his mind to it.

Cruel result, if it had have ended 0-0 most people would have taken that..Bayern are one of of the top clubs in the world.

Not all doom and gloom.

Massive game coming up.

We were three minutes from getting a very good result.
Get behind your team and stop fucking moaning.
It's that type of attitude that winds me up. Let's be happy with a loss lads because we nearly got a result. If we want to do better we have to expect better and I do not expect after 4 seasons in the CL to still look as shit as we did in our first game.

We're we really that poor? I must have been watching a different game. If Silva had been awarded the penalty it could well have been three points, then what would you have been moaning about.

are you a delusional scouser.????
we were abysmal attacking wise..so slow..no idea..one shot i think all night..edin on 22 mins
other.than that..take.the blue blinkers off chap..It was awful.
Nasri and yaya can fuck right off for me

Both are showboaters. DS puts in a shift every time whether he's on form or not. From Mancini through Pellegrini we appear clueless in Europe. Formations are usually wrong. We get away with it in the PL .

a breath of fresh air ,great comments , lets put the result into persperctive , we lost in the last minute to a side with 6 world cup winners in the team , our only mistake was we gave them too much respect , the team should play with more belief , but it will come , Frustrating nights like this , will make lifting the champs league trophy so much sweeter.

Last season when we went at them and tried to go for it we got spanked 3-0.

If we went at them tonight with Toure who couldn't be arsed as he let the defenders or Alonso run past him we would of got spanked yet again.

Chelsea played defensive football throughout their champions league win and played exactly the way we did on the way to winning it.

You just can't go at teams like Bayern they will pick you off with their quick passes.

What makes it worse cant say a specific Bayern player who was very good. They played well as a team but they did not havea standout player. None of them played extremely great. We thought X. Alonso might be their weakness if we close him down but he had about 100% passing stats and we hardly were thinking on their weaknesses...

This Bayern was far from a top form Bayern also with the star players being fit they missed tonight. Trouble is even this Bayern seemed way ahead of us in defending and creating chances.

Same as last year. Barca were there for the taking but we were crap. But the manager has to take the blame here. Mourtinho would have hooked Yaya off after 30 minutes. We seem to want to play the elite teams with one midfielder.

I thought buying Fernando showed we had begun to understand what was needed. I know he was unavailable but we should have started with Milner.

This is what really fucks me off. Manny played 4-4-2 yet again, whilst accomodating Yaya and Nasri in the midfield 4, absolutely stupid decision.
