Can't believe some people are angry about the result tonight. You have to play the best teams anyway if you want to progress in the CL so who cares if it comes in the next round or the one after. We just showed we can beat the best with our bloody reserve team. Enjoy the win ffs.

Look, once and for all....

He said that Silva could only play 70 minutes, 4 goals, 5 goals or 10 goals our playmaker was coming off after 70 mins.
It didn't matter whether or not he brought Aguero on, we were unlikely to score after the player who was pulling the attacking strings went off. So Pellers decided to save Aguero for the Arsenal game as he already had Negredo on.

and it was a shame he only had 70 mins in the tank as he showed every aspect of his game tonight.

if he starts scoring regularly he will shoot up those world rankings.

This is what I can`t get my around !! If we had scored another goal (according to this final league table) how the hell would we have gone through as group winners,as they would be 1 goal worse off and us ONLY one goal better off :

No; head to head is the first thing they take into account when sides finish level in the CL.

Ah,just couldn`t understand why the fuck they bother with showing GD then as in this case it serves no purpose.
Anyway mate a decent result and I think I can already smell fear in those other teams not wanting to play us,no matter who it is.

Their goals were offside but they were very marginal - it's hard to get angry tonight. Might have even worked in our favour because Bayern switched off thinking it was job done.

ITV, Sky etc may not give this result the recognition it deserves, but the most important people it affects are the players and supporters of Manchester City. Belief matter so much. You need to be able to step out on that pitch and know you can win. Last season, and maybe even this, we conceded a lot of very soft goals and I think that was in part down to doubt. "Are we good enough? Do we belong?" No one will ask questions like that again.

Pellegrini has to bring the players back down to Earth straight away though.

Totally agree, tonight should be up there amongst our best ever nights for every blue, how anyone can pull negatives from it I can't understand, F**k sky who cares, we know who they support, same for the rest of the media.

Oakie, I'm a seasoncard holder. Manuel not understanding the rules was a monumental mistake. As a result, if Arsenal and Chelsea win their groups, in the round of 16 we get either Barca, Real, PSG, or Athletico. Score another goal and we would have played a relative minnow.

Nope as think we good enough to shut you down. We top of league by five points and we both beaten bayern.

Going to be very tough away game though and think it be epic battle between two of best attacks in europe

Just watched the highlights and that first goal was possibly offside but the second goal of theirs definitely was. That's twice we've been robbed at the Allianz in the CL.

We did win tonight, I'll take that given the circumstances at 7:58 tonight.

Any blue that isn't buzzing over what we did tonight, needs to re-assess why they are blues, not many games rank up there, the win at Spurs from 3-0 down was magnificent, but this was the european champions on their own patch in the top competition in world football.

Only the QPR comeback tops this in my supporting of City comebacks.

Well i won,t either way straight afterward. If i come on and we win then i be very dumb to come on here straight after. If we lose then if we come on then it be non stop grief from city fans.
