Clichy and Richards. I didn't feel AK and Zab's did a great job against Napoli and found that AK was caught too far up the field when he should have been back defending. I know that both Clichy and Richards like to get forward, but I think they are they better choice overall.

I have no instinct on the outcome of tomorrow's match. Wouldn't surprise me if we won it or lost it and wouldn't surprise me if it turns out to be a draw.

There will be no surprises for you then.

Bayern has the likes of Robben, Ribery, Lahm, and Rafinha to run our fullbacks around all night....

I don't mind whether he picks Zab or Richards on the right. I can think of arguments for playing either of them. Has to be Clichy on the left though. Kolarov has looked marginally better this season when he has played but he's still not good enough imo. The thought of him marking Robben is enough to make me shit.

Kolo Toure to start tonight?

Not sure if anyone else has picked up on it, apologies if you have, but in the pre-Everton press conference, Mancini said something like "we're at the stage where Kolo needs to play and he should play either against Everton or against Munich."

He didn't play v Everton, so is Bobby going to stick to his word? He has far more Champions League experience than Lescott, but is the inferior defender (imo). So are we expecting him to start, or not?

I'd be surprised if he started tonight, but I guess he would be more able to cope with Bayern's quick attack than Lescott.

I fully expect Kompany and Lescott to start though.

Has anybody noticed that we have played a back 3 (Kompany more or less playing as sweeper) several times this season (usually it's Savic on to replace Nasri or Silva in the latter stages of the game). Can anybody see us line up this way to start a game?

Not sure but i think Savic might start tonight

He's no where near ready yet mate, not for a game of this magnitude.
