Since when did patriotism or how much you support your national team have anything to do with maturity? I was much more in to supporting England when I was about 12 than I am now. Tbh I haven't watched the last two games, since i've grown tired of watching dross meaningless friendlies, but the last time I can remember was the Slovakia friendly, we were 1-0 up but playing shite. Beckham came on and provided a brilliant cross which Rooney converted, we went on to win 4-0. Granted thats only Slovakia and it was a year ago, but I still think he has something to offer coming off the bench.
