Benat

Main question for the Benat aficionados.. Is he good enough to get into one of the following, Bayern, Madrid, Dortmund or Barcas midfield? Not necessarily so great he displaces them immediately, but good enough to stand toe to toe? Main worry is we'll end up with another plenty capable but not quite good enough player, when it's a position we should be dropping mega bucks for the absolute best available.

Tbh if i was mancini i will buy him as a back-up for yaya and go for fernandinho or gundogan as the player to play alongside yaya and transform one of rodwell/garcia in a CB

Well there was a rumor on goal.com which to be fair is starting to get some good information before everyone else especially regarding City, that Bayern were looking at him.

Personally I would say he is good enough to play in any of those teams, he isn't better than Schweni, Xavi, Iniesta or Alonso but plenty good enough to be in the squad.

Outshining Modric in the Real/Betis game that is just about to end. A really good player who is going to attract plenty of interest this summer.

Would love him to end up here, there was loads earlier in the season about city being interested in him

Isn't his disciplinary record quite horrendous?

Fair few yellows that. Having said that you get booked for breathing in their league.

That's true. He is a tenacious bastard but La Liga has very strict referees and there have been an incredible 117 red cards (1760 yellows) there this season compared to 38 red cards (971 yellows) in England. He'd probably get less bookings in England but still a fair few.
