Benjamin Mendy - 2018/19 Performances

Its a wierd one he must have a really serious injury that wont heal he has played around 16 games since we bought him.
 
Im not sure he can even be back up for us. Surely back up has to be reliable and ready to play when called upon.

People said the same after Gundogan had 2 (worse) knee injuries back to back, and he's played 88 games since coming back in October 2017, and has barely missed a game when we've needed him.

He defo won't be going anywhere. He's got 4 years left and nobody's gonna take him off us. Sign a top new left back, keep Zinchenko, and if Mendy can get fit again, great. He's a fantastic player. If not, we'll be covered.

I assume rushing him back and playing him on a shit pitch has aggravated his knee injury, his fault, naturally.

All we really know is that the initial prognosis post surgery was ten weeks, that would've been mid February. It seemed he was ahead of schedule when he played half an hour against Burton in the last week of January but he aggravated the injury.
