He'll just sit this one out probably, and the FA Cup game, which is fine as we don't need him for that. Was inevitable that he'd need breaks here and there as his body gets used to the physical demands again.

2 months ago people were dead certain he'd never be able to play more than 1 game a week.

Now people are losing their minds because he might be rested after playing 8 of the last 9 games.

Considering today's LB is now suspended and our only other fit LB is just after being shipped off to Germany your probably right.

Mendy hasn't featured for 2/3 games now, IIRC

Pep usually gives a stock answer like we are hopeful for next week but never really explains what the problem is.

Thankfully it’s our favourite side West Ham we are playing and then a much needed break for everyone.

Like CB, we need top LB. Mendy can stay but he has to fight for his place and we cant gamble on him next season again being first choice. Sell Zinchenko to bring in some funds and free up extra foreign spot.
