Probably the same bellends who thought he was guilty until proven innocent. Trial by social media. Seems to be happening a lot these days.Won’t be long before Twitter bellends are abusing city for not renewing his contract

Was he suspended from club on full pay or did club stop paying him...now he's been cleared I would imagine city will have to pay him what he's lost ??

From a Manchester City POV this coming just after we released him is ideal timing.
We don't have to do or say anything. He's just not our player anymore. No discussions about reintegration or how not guilty =/= innocent or how hard rape cases are to prove.
Just wash our hands of him, probably won't even have to pay him wages owed because the behaviour he admitted to during the trial would surely be a breach of contract.
