I have no issue with him leaving, we need a fair price (not a ridiculous) and we need it done by a set date within the transfer window.

His team should have had this brief for best part of a year.

We should be happy to keep him, but not against his will.

I would say £60 million, plus first month of transfer window is extremely fair and outside of that we do not negotiate and have made that perfectly clear.

If Gundo is definitely off then it would be shrewd to keep him for one more season even if we miss out on getting a good fee for him. Losing two midfielders is too much in one window.

I don’t think throwing more money at him is going to do anything. The club need to sort a replacement and not just try and kick the can down the road another year.
