Mate - you know we don’t play United at the money game.

We’re not going to get into a ‘who can pay the most’ fight on wages with that lot.

If he wants to come to City, and is willing to be reasonable on wages - I’d imagine we’d be open to it.

The reality is neither of those conditions seems likely at the moment, which I’d imagine is why we’re not interested in him.

Not wrong, not right. None of them have really had much of a chance with us to make that call.

Alvarez and Gomez could well prove to be at least as good as the players that they have replaced. I suspect that Phillips, when fit, will be better than the Fernandinho of last season and therefore an improvement.

Time will tell.

Dinho aged 37 years old is probably not better than Phillips and definitely Fernandinho aged 37 years old as a future project is WAY WORSE than Phillips.
