James at G-Mex with support from Radiohead, amazing night.
I've only seen James once, they supported the smiths at the palace back in the day, he was a mad fucker back then. Anyone one go to a small gig at the royal northern to support signal radio? Martin Stevenson and Jonny dangouresly played.
Ps got Martin pissed as a bastard in the crown one night before a gig in Gmex, he ended up about 1/2 an hour late, I'm a very bad man:)

Being a huge Smiths fan that would have been the ultimate concert for me, never got the chance to see them, the nearest i got was Morrissey at Wolverhampton civic hall, just Johnny Marr missing.

Nine Inch Nails at phones4u last Sunday were completely incredible. Best live act on the planet.

Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Watch The Throne (jay z + Kanye) all at the MEN and Interpol at Empress Ballroom all 10/10 gigs too. Special mention for Godspeed You Black Emperor at the academy too - weird as hell.

James Appollo around 1988 being on the stage with all the rest of the goons and the band during Sit Down and Tim saying part way through "Get off the fucking stage or we can't carry on".

Top 3, in order

1. Paul McCartney, at Anfield Liverpool (2007)
2. Oasis at the old Wembley Stadium (2000)
3. The Who, Quadrophenia, Wembly Arena (1998)

I've seen ACR countless times but their best ever gig was their 33 year anniversary at the Band on the Wall in 2011. All songs played in chronological order with all the lineups from over the years and they even had time for a Q&A.

Festival of the10th summer wasn't bad in 1985 as well. Throw in the Mondays, New Order and ACR at G-MEx in 1988 too. Remember that well as we'd just scraped a 2-2 draw against Shrewsbury at home in the afternoon. How times have changed.

Was at that too.

ACR and Yargo both at International 2 were great nights.

I actually quite like nine Inch Nails, they toured with Bowie during 1995 to 1997 and it's one of my favourite Bowie periods.

I was really considering going but I'm not familiar with a lot of the recent stuff, but having watched video clips I would've loved it :-(
