The famous Franny Lee goal for Derby at Maine Road which had the immortal much-played TV commentary. Interesting....very interesting....oh just look at his face. I had a great view from the Kippax and the roar was almost as big as if we had scored. He was still a hero to most City fans.
this is a masochistic thread for sure, not !,here is my contribution then
Does anyone have a clip of the Dunne OG at Newcastle away in 08? He just hammers a volley home in off of a corner and I swear it's the most technically brilliant thing he ever did, own goal or not.
Yup
I clapped for that one.
Apart from the fat **** shinning it & kompany slipping to missMuch as i hate the granny shagging scouse git , his shinner overhead kick was a brilliant goal and won a derby game , i feel dirty after writing this , going for a bath in Domestos now.
i honestly can’t remember that goal?! remember going derby & getting beat 6/0 but can’t remember a goal as described? think saunders got 2 or 3 that day? you tube here i come :)Dean Saunders for Derby against us at the Baseball ground.
I was behind (Shilton's goal?) at the City end. He launched it and Saunders hit a first time volley as it came over his shoulder from about 35 yards. Coton didn't move and we we're all like 'What the fuck?)
Peter Beagrie also scored a great scissor goal against us at Goodison Park I vaguely remember?
Tony Daley, also, one season at the Holte End.
Unbelievable hit, I remember Defoe missing an open goal and Balloteli cool as a cucumber slotting the penalty home at the end.
Jimmy floyd Hasselbank free kick in the Boro Europe last game of season was a screamer
For sheer opportunism, Ronnie Boyce returning Joe Corrigans goal kick with interest v Wet Spam in 1970 at Maine Road.

We're watching you VERY closely....I would say the best goal against City was Ricky Villas goal in the 81 final
Or Peter Crouches goal for the CL was also pretty special
Think it was in a 1-1 draw at the Baseball Ground the year after the 6-0 defeat.
Corker from Saunders tbf.
