Himalaya in Levenshulme. They take a while to cook it as it isn't just scooped out of a pan but that gives you time for some booze and the food is fantastic.

it's been a while since I lived in the area, but I believe the Shere Khan is still in business on Wilmslow Road, Rusholme - I think it's been around for 30 years, which says something does it not?

- although not Indian, Abdul's on Oxford Road gives anyone a run for their money in the chicken kebab dept (served with naan & veggies with sauces) and is one of my favourite places to eat when I'm visiting.
