Big Nige Dropped From Dutch Squad {merged}

Re: Big Nige Dropped {merged}

So i guess it is ben arfa fault that de jong the thug decided to scissor tackle with more force than needed and to bend his right knee to make contact with ben arfa,you can see that de jong could have stayed up and just bugged ben arfa if he wanted to as tevez was right there next to him so he had no other way to turn to but no,the maniac that he is just can't think properly and know that being a destroyer doesn't mean lunging at every opportunity.

The problem is not that he broke ben arfa leg but more the way he tackled hatem with such force that it caused the leg break,call it luck and ben arfa being unlucky but it is too many players who have been on the receiving of stupid and needless nigel de jong excessive force to say the man isn't too overly aggressive,you just have to look at some of the youtube clips of him to know he doesn't care if he takes out someone as long as he clears everything and that to me is wrong.

Tiote was also a destroyer yesterday and you didn't see him make this sort of challenges especially so early in the game which is what really makes this injury to ben arfa the more obvious for me that de jong wanted to send a message to hatem that if you go on them mazy runs of yours this is what is going to happen so in some way scare him or make him play a different kind of game.

Nigel is a good defensive mid who just needs to learn how to decrease the force that he uses to be less reckless and cost other players well being.

The irony is that the current Dutch coach is the one who betrayed Holland's footballing ethos at the WC by setting his team out to stifle, kick, and annoy the opposition rather than passing them to death...

Now this **** wants to hang Nigel out to dry...I have to say that with each passing minute this decision is making me angrier and angrier.

Bang on

nail, head, direct hit.

Re: Big Nige Dropped {merged}

De Jong should tell the Dutch FA to go fuck themselves imo or at least refuse to play for them until that clown of a manager is sacked!!

That manager should be standing up for de jong, what sort of man manager his he? even the newcastle top brass don't blame him. Yes it was a very strong challenge but certainly not horrific or malicious.

Toon assistant boss calderwood was on talksport this morning sayiong we shouldn't erradicate these type of tackles its part of football etc just unlucky for Ben Arfa.

Bog off you rag. All you do is complain non-stop about every one of our players. You truly are one of the vile new breed of fans.

Re: Big Nige Dropped {merged}

Nige it's there loss mate, he should just say, if I can't play in these upcoming games you can never select me again, your call.

That will really put the pressure on the fuckers.

Re: Big Nige Dropped {merged}

A lad I know who plays Sunday League broke his leg (compound fracture) just getting his boot stuck in the turf during a pre-season training session. We've since banned the bit of grass and it is no longer allowed to play on Sundays ever again. Dirty bit of turf.

And Van Bommell, who is one dirty bastard.

Van Bommel isn't popular with supporters of Dutch Total Football, they'd rather see a player like Janssen take his place. But I can't think of Van Bommel taking out 2 players for months with broken bones.
I'm a fan of Dutch 'Totalfootball' and I recommend you go and watch the 1974 semi-final between Holland and Brasil. The brasilians were incredibly dirty but the Dutch gave as good as they got. Look out in particular for a Neeskins elbow into Revalinho head. Total football meant we can do everything - not we are bunch of tippy-tappy faggots.
