Big Phil Haters

I think he's improved shitloads. He looks leaner and seems to have more pace about him lately.

some of you boys need to calm down a bit,ive been watching city for years and ive heard it all before, this guys got two hopes of making it big time, bob and no! fair enough his goal return has been good, but the guy has far to many faults to make it proper.we can debate all day long, but only time will tell.so i look forward to this debate in 12months time and we will see where big phil is? somehow i doubt he will be leading our attack.

More chance than Bojinov, Sturridge, Benjani, Evans or Vassell.

Yes let's look at Drogba's record before he was at Marseille and Chelsea because according to our good pal PabZab Drogba was pure shite at Caicedo's age and if Caicedo scores an amazing 8 tap-ins for a mid-table club in the Premier Leage then he's going to be twice the player Drogba is when he's 31. Get real you moron, the only drivel being spouted on this board is coming from Caicedo's biggest fans.

No lets look at Drogba's record when he was 21-24 and compare it to Caicedo's when he is 20. Rather than lets compare a 20 year old in a new league to a player in their prime.

Also your personal insults and ignoring my arguments suggests that you're fighting a losing battle.

vbr's quite clearly fucked!!!! comparing a 31yr old to a 20 year old. hardly fair

next he will be telling us that half cooked chicken will NEVER be as good as fully cooked chicken and we shuld stop cooking it

he's fooked!!

I think some people are of the impression that we'll play 2 up top next season. I doubt we will. It's 3 or 1, depending on how you look at it.

As far as the central target man goes, we definitely need someone more experienced/proven. That means Caicedo and Bojinov will have to sit on the bench waiting their chance. I think some may prefer Bojinov to be the main contender but I doubt he will. He'll want to be first choice. So like it or not Caicedo may be our only other alternative target man. Personally I'm fine with that. (Not that I want Bojinov to leave but if he wants to leave after us waiting so long for him to recover then he's not the hero some make him out to be and so be it).

Not at all. I think it's safe to say that, with the money that is likely to be available to Hughes, Caicedo is unlikely to play that often next season. However of all the "forwards" on the books at City presently Caicedo is second to Bellamy in ability (I don't count Robinho as an out and out forward). I honestly think Caicedo has shown enough to suggest that he can be a top player in years to come.
