Big Phil Haters

I do feel the need to remind all that wheelsy said on here that he would never score a goal in a city shirt

I personally dont think he is a great player at the mo but he has got time on his side and will improve. However anyone who sticks them away will do for me

i agree with wheelsy,

that wheelsy will never score a goal in a city shirt

or score in any shirt for that matter ;)

with or without a ball at his feet

Looks like I was right all along ;)

there were about 3 of us out of thousands on here

but loads will come on and say ' i always rated him' but did they fuck they are just sheep

there are only about 3 or 4 members on here who know football, the rest are sheep. fact!

I rated him last season! :p

When Sven was using him on the left it was obvious he was eager to get stuck in and showed some nice touches but the important thing is how much he has improved this season. His goal return is excellent and he's not just a tap in merchant. He definitely deserves to get more games next season as he has the potential to keep improving. It's probably doing him some good learning off someone like Robinho as well tbh!

Your mam insults? PMSL. Don't think you should be on the internet, son, you need to finish your homework for school tomorrow.

If you're going to try and claim the moral highground you shouldn't have started calling people morons really..

To be fair to those who don't rate Big Phil, probably the same people who slagged Superman this time last year, anyway where was I? Oh yeah, well to be fair to them it must be hard to concentrate on City and Caceido (City player) whilst partaking in a huge circle jerk over Tevez. Men can't multi task remember.

Wouldn't dream of hating a city player. I've been a Caicedo-doubter though. But not anymore. Next to Stevie, Phil has been our most improved player this season. Or the second half of the season really. He really has some great abilities that will keep improving next year, even if he wont be playing as much.

Add me to that short list! I took loads of flack on here after the Midgetland game after I said he plaed well and Sturridge offered no more than big Phil. My favourite player at the minute!

How people such as vbr can get so angry or bitter towards a young city player, who is actually not bad and has a great attitude, is beyond me!

I could understand if he was shit, or just a twat (As some claim Danny S to be) but Caceido is neither of these things.

He is a good young player, who will hopefully learn and improve over the next few years from the inevitable new strikers that we will sign.

There is nothing to hate or not to like. For a 20 year old lad he has done well. End of.

the only thing ANYBODY ! can even remotely (and in my opinion incorrectly) say against the lad is that he isnt in the pacey fast speed league ! ......... yes, not compared to people like sweep, messi, and even rooney (who is a speed demon even if he is a bit big) BUT he is not slow !

you see his run from our box to bolton's 6yard box?? ..... he is a fast player, just not in the same speed league as messi etc, so people brand him as slow?! 0_o .... crazy if you ask me !

great player ! love the guy ! i admit, last year i had doubts, i honestly did, thought he would never be anywhere near what we need, esp coming from FC Basel ! ...... but ...... i swear, the whole of the season i have rated him ! probably when he scored that back-heeler in the UEFA cup did it for me ....... but a switch flicked in me and i immediately staretd to see him in a differnt light .....

you just watch him in a game, watch his movement, his selflessness, and some of the touches he does are robinho like ! his also pass through the whole bolton defence for onouha on sunday??? .... a great player in my books ! lots of players arent crazy fast, but doesnt make them bad players ! .... XAVI for example !

big phil hateers, entitled to your opinion, but got to say, i really dont get it ..... BIG PHIL = MINT !

Just to take on the tap in arguement with proof otherwise Hamburg??? turned the defenders inside out and buried it from edge of the area or Aalborg spun round used sheer brute strength to go through to score. There are different types of strikers you have your small pacey guys like Owen you have your tap in specialist like Lineker in his prime ,bean poles like Quinny was or Crouch who always get labelled as header specialists when they could use their feet, or you have the type like big Phil strong lad powerful and young also hungry! As I said in my earlier post and I noticed a few others saying similar things loan him out to let him mature and we could well have a cracking player on our hands
