It's about time we had a dislike buttonRadcliffe. The land that time forgot.
That’s one thing I do like about Wythenshawe. I feel like we get a bad rep but generally people look after their houses and flats around here (I’m in Baguley). I even find Civic itself to be very clean and tidy. I find round here much cleaner and tidier and better presented by residents than the further into the core city you get.
I was at Wythenshawe Hospital yesterday and coming home the road I needed was closed, it was dark and the diversion sign pointed right but it hadn’t said it before the lights so I was in the wrong lane and had to go left! I ended up going through an estate, pitch black, no idea where I was, no signs so just following my instincts and sense of direction (?).I actually quite liked the craziness of Wythenshawe. I'd never bring my son up there, but I had a lot of funny memories from my childhood.
There are some rough people there, but on the whole, I thought people were pretty nice and the area didn't look like a dump.

Unless you were a red getting off the 53 at the Lake Hotel. As already been said, there are quite a few contenders and it all depends where you are from and what you are used to. I was originally a Gorton lad way back and remember a good childhood. It has definitely gone downhill since! That Monsall, Collyhurst, Cheetham Hill corridor running just north of the centre is pretty grim nowadays imho.

Or a red on the 210 going past the Lake Hotel along Hyde Road as it got bricked.
