"Time for a sing-along City Square, kids the first chorus, ladies the second, lads the third!"

With all due respect to the club and the Blue Alliance. We all know what is needed, the Blue Alliance know what is needed but their hands are tied on what they are allowed to do and what the club wants to happen.

Deep down they don't want a boisterous atmosphere, it doesn't fit it with what they want.

So asking for suggestions, asking for polls is a waste of time and is just a front from the club to look like they actually care.

Reading liamctid post from 2009 that he posted before is what needs to happen, the club won't allow it so there is nothing we can do with that end of the ground. It needs new idea's in new area's but again the club will never allow it.

so basically the club wants a stadium like Chelsea???
a song to start then a couple of "cmon city" and that is it???

is that really what they want?

blue alliance are doing a good job, trying to get it together, the difficult bit is starting off......

im in SS lower tier, its looked great with the tik tape thrown at the start of the game, been doing that myself since we did the poznan..

a start would be to get together and practice on a non match day, see what numbers we have, speak to the club on how we can get together in the ground.. thats when we hit a brick wall though..

but lets keep going now, im up for it, email from me coming so lets group and meet..

I am an old fart 48 but have always cheered / shouted even tried to sing ...

My son is 10 and gets really embarrassed if I make any tribal noise. I have noticed that other kids and cool 20 some-things are the same. If you look at the Dortmund fans last night they all contributed because it was cool to be part of the pack. We need to breed the same culture. This happens on occasion at away games e.g. Fulham last week when a group congregate at the back of the stand and generate atmosphere that most joined in with.... it was again about being part of the pack. We need all fans to recognise its cool and therapy to shout / sing and make noise and not something to be embarrassed about. Booze seems to help everyone get in the mood.

Some of the best fans at our place always have some sort of percussion (drum or similar) and a director of the songs. The visual and audible impact seems to be best with fans that have repetitive songs and or collective movements e.g. bouncing, swaying or Poznan style link ups. Hamburg away a few years ago everyone in the lower tier banged their metal seats for ages to the song never felt more like singing the blues ....... It was brilliant.

Stop playing that awful version of 'Bluemoon' prior to kick-off. It would be hard to pick a more depresssing tune. In fact don't play any music after the teams have run out. Give the crowd chance to make some noise.

Yes, all they care about is making money. They would be happy if the ground was filled with 48,000 tourists. What has ever been achieved from these polls they send out? Nothing. It's all a front to show they care.
