I rate Dylan, of course I do. But always struggled to 'like' him, i.e his music.

The scoring system, is very much about numbers of posters voting, as opposed to how high on people's lists they are.

I see what you did there Rob. Didn't pay much attention to it when first explained, but I see now what it does.

This may count as the list’s jawdropper, but poet and musician extraordinaire, Bob Dylan, only just got enough votes to get into the top 20. And a tie for 20th place at that. Before everybody shouts “Judas!”, remember, it was you lot that voted for this list.

Well, if Bob Dylan is only 20th, we must have a good old feast to look forward to, I hear you cry. Let’s wait and see, eh?

I guess in the scheme of music the world over the Happy Mondays were more important than Bob Dylan.

I think it's fair that one or two votes for any artist doesn't automatically shoot them to the top.
We don't have to like all of the results, of course - I certainly don't!

Always thought Dylans music sounds better played by someone else.

A poet and a great composer, but terrible to listen to for a sustained period in my opinion.

The only album of Dylan's that I truly love is Live at Budokan. That's why he didn't make my list, although that album would have probably made my top 15 album list.

Musically blur and Albran piss all,over Oasis and most Uk bands of the last 20 tears for lyrics, style and invention.

They are probably.not rated as the trend in this list is bands from 40-50 years ago and the odd Manc.

Certainly is a middle aged forum
