Paul Young?
I was referring more about his voice rather than the songs he sang! He could singSad cafe or mike and the mechanics days?
As I thought M&tM were terrrible
For a future poll.....
It has been noted about lack of female and US artists but not seen anyone comment yet as to how white the top 100 has been.
Just 5 non white names in there (5 and a half if you include The Specials)
Would.love to see a.non white poll as even though I am (was) a typical 80's white indie kid there is still a love of Motown, dub and soul in me, just not in my top 15 - and a Manc band can still come on top with Sweet Sensation!
I always assumed you were one of them.I wonder how many aliases @Ric has too ;)
And some bloke called Gerald.Ruthless Rap Assasins shirley
Or Cleopatra
Hmmm. Of the Manc bands I know on this list, this is quite correct. I never thought about that before. None of the fuckers can sing. That's an even better idea. The prime requirement will be a decent vocalist so that will instantly rule all the Mancs out.
