its clear your tastes are many and varied and its dangerous for someone especially like me to be surprised at any of your favourites but I have to admit I never would have thought you a fan of Tom and Jerry ( aka Simon and Garfunkel ).

Agreed. I like Werewolves, but he wrote so many better songs. Sad that some only know him by WoL. The "Warren Zevon" album featured so many gems: Carmelita, Hasten Down the Wind, Poor Poor Pitiful Me, Mohammed's Radio, Desperadoes Under the Eaves, etc.

Couldn't agree more great songwriter and always tuned in when he appeared on the Letterman show who knew a good songwriter or two.

No love for Coldplay in this vote. I find that surprising considering some of the great songs they have done.
Saw them at the Etihad and they were excellent.

If it wasn't for my random reviews they wouldn't have been in there - but 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' was such a brilliant album - not the title track, but 'The Boxer' 'Only Living Boy In New York' and most of that album is just superb. led me to hearing some of their earlier and live stuff, great duo
