Agree with most of the albums you've listed above, but less so about You Got Lucky and Southern Accents.
But all three of his solo albums were fantastic, with Full Moon Fever and Wildflowers being particularly good.

Petty, with or without the Heartbreakers, is a wonderful artist. TP&H are up there with Bruce & E St Band and The Rolling Stones as what I refer to as the greatest rock n roll bands ever. I left him out of my 20 when I introduced my own points system because I had 18 bands that I was struggling to turn into 15.

All his albums are worth having.

Great band. Haven’t listened to them in a good while though. Must rectify that.

I reckon well over 200 would name you Spirit of the Radio without hesitation. Not that we’ll ever know.

I couldn’t name much else by them though but what I’ve heard I’ve liked, probably just not enough to explore further
