Bluemoon

Think it’s Arsenal fan tv
Nothing wrong with fair and robust criticism and I was screaming at the TV last night. Fans are paying customers at the end of the day. But too much negativity (including this Forum) can have a destructive impact.
For me Arsenal TV has become almost a parody of itself and its incessant whining has caused damage to the club they all claim to love. I hope Bluemoon doesn't follow the same route. The best thing about City fans during our dark years is that we always kept a sense of humour, even when we were protesting outside the Main Stand at Maine Road. Let's face it this is a terrible time to be in this country...let's not make it worse by being sucked into a negative spiral.

You cheered me up reminded me of a group of old boys on the Kippax who came from all directions but stood together and every week they said 'that was bloody rubbish.. never 'coming again.......see you next week'.
We kids used to mime along with them.
And next home match there they were in the same place, same steps. I can still picture some of their faces 60 years later. Long macs, flat caps, people would tell their kids to stay away from them nowadays.
My lasting memory of the 60 70 S was standing on the Kippax amazed how the Main Stand was always full never any empty seats then realised this must be the place all those old gits sit, the only noise that came out of there was groans and moans in fact as a kid in Gorton we called it the Moan Stand. It was as if they never missed a game so they could get it out of their systems.
The only exception was and typing this today still gives me goose bumps was Colins Boxing Day Resurrection even the Maine Stand actually sang all his anthems, which was something to behold.

Too late mate, they wanted Pep out after the draw at WHU. They’re on a roll.

I think some of the over the top reactions on this forum are nothing short of pathetic at times, especially given this forum isn't filled with youngsters who you'd associate with that type of behaviour.

But it isn't wumming. Most people if pressed could genuinely go into detail and expand on their points quite well if asked.

My personal issue is the speed at which people are ready to decide somebody/something is awful and write them off permanently. For supporters we don't do supportive very well. Too many people don't seem to understand constructive criticism and exaggerations are not the same.

The worst is things like the John Stones thread. We have posters patting themselves on the back for keeping the faith, before going into another thread and telling everyone how shit a player is. Check out the Mahrez thread early last season and you'll see the same. How times change.

You want to say Sterling was under par last night? Fine. You want to say he's had a poor run of form? Fine. You want to say that the guy who broke his personal goal record last season and was our top scorer doesn't have it anymore, is shit, and should be sold? That's just silly.

some of the reaction this season is nothing short of aftv ,and people should take a long hard look at themselves, they are showing themselves up, football isnt all about glory, ups and downs and to be honest if you think this is a down then you know fuck all about supporting manchester city.

the place is full of wums and its really about time something was done about them, they feed negativity into every topic, and sadly those weak minded easily led posters get swept up in it, the mods really need to get a grip, because bluemoon resembles a bbc comments page, the match and post match threads are nothing short of a 14 years olds rant on twitter, and these people claim to be adults.

its getting harder and harder to read any topic without the wums infiltrating it, the owner and mods really need to think what they want from bluemoon, because quite frankly its embarrassing, other fans must look at us in the same way we looked and despised united , self entitled hyper children who sway like the wind.

i enjoy other fans on here, its good to get an outside opinion,i genuinely love talking football, but not the sneaky snidy leeches we have on here, and its getting very tiring to wade through the negativity day after day.

think ill stay on the angling page,a rose in a sea of shite, because if im honest its high quality discussion ,advice and thoughts, no wumming , no snide comments, just fishing.
I don't agree, it doesn't bother me if someone says Pep out, even if I disagree, it's all about opinions.
I like reading differing viewpoints.
People get frustrated when things aren't going well.
Usually after a good win though the same people change their minds.

We're all different and it's a funny old game..
I don't want to see overmoderation, that would be boring...... like last nights match :)

I remember 'we got beat last week' being lustily and cheerfully being bellowed out side Port Vale about 20 years ago and it still gets sung. Invisible man probably longer. We are missing not getting together at home or away for a bit of fun. And beer of course.

We're all guilty of getting caught up in our emotions btw, especially after a bad result.

But I think some of us need to learn to get a handle on things like that. It's one thing being emotional in the hours after a bad result but to keep it up for days at a time can't be healthy.

Same here. An everlasting memory. From the buzz that went round at half time to him emerging and the longest sustained applause I've ever heard. Even Pavarotti didn't get such genuine applause after his best performances.
