agreed, doesnt punch his weight in the air for a big lad,not strong enough for a premiership centre half imo
If Nedum can persuade Mancini that he still has a role to play, we may not miss Boateng too much anyway.

Maybe that is the point. Maybe we aren't making the claim based on his 3 or 4 appearances at CB this season. To do so would be pretty shortsighted.kenzie115 said:All those saying he'll be the best centre back in Europe in a few years time can't be basing that on any performances he's made for City. He lacked positional sense, at both full back and centre back, he looked dozy and showed a serious lack of desire and fight. He might do ok in the Bundesliga or Serie A but he wasn't cut out for the Premier League and there's no chance he'll be one of Europe's best defenders.
Yet another example of why it's not wise to mess with Mancini. He's the boss - no doubt.Rammyblues said:If Nedum can persuade Mancini that he still has a role to play, we may not miss Boateng too much anyway.
IMO all Ned has to do is say, out of order boss, sorry, want to fight for my place, won't be doing any more interviews on TV, have learnt me lesson.
Totally agree. Plagued by injury and no chance to shine. This lad is good, one of the most sought after young defenders in Europe when we bought him.BlueJill said:Maybe that is the point. Those saying he is gash, however, do seem to be looking only at his very limited experience at City which is why they will be proven wrong.
Bottom line: you do not sell a young starter from the German national team.

Shame it didn't work out.
