Boateng to Bayern

Mancini bought him obviously on the recommendation that he could play numerous positons....check......he is young and can improve....check.....can play the role as a 'flying fullback.....our survay said

His primary role is crap for what we need - he's obv a CB but forced to play fullback

The emergence of zabba's and micah's form is more than acceptable. Get someone else in to cover and we'll be sorted.

Gone are the days of city being raped in the transfer market. Take a leaf out of the yids book and demand through the roof for average players.

Bayern just paid 25M for Neuer who is 25 and was in the last year of his contract. Bayern are have tons of cash and we should be looking for 20M for him. We have not seen the best of Boateng but lets not sell him on the cheap.

Well, tbf Neuer is one of the best players in he world in his position. That is just not the case with Jerome. (He's not even a starter in the German NT). Plus, it was (aparently) 18 million, plus some million (amounting to a total of 25) if Bayern win the league and/or the CL.

Also, I don't think there's a way Bayern would pay 20m. Bayern tend not to overpay and they have already bought several players this window, and might be willing to buy one or two more.

So City should just sell Boateng for cheap to please Bayern then?

According to Bild Bayern are considering Chelsea defender Alex as a Plan-B in case they cannot get City to drop asking price for Boateng.

Good luck to them then.

if they cant pay then City should just demand players in exchange to make up the difference, Badstuber anyone?
there is no way we are letting a German full international 21 year old go for less than we demand

looks like Alex wants to go to Bayern, too, according to a BBC writer.

Our hardball stance will bite us. The player doesn't want to be here, he isn't anything above 3rd choice at any position in the backline, and we could use his 12m+ fee for a variety of upgrades.

If Lescott or Kompany get injured, he's next up for the central defensive positions.

We're one injury away from him being in the team.

Him or Cahill? It's a no-brainer for me...
